If You are using a Internet Connection of 256 Kbits/sec upto 512Kbits/sec i.e. 256 KiloBytes/sec (Actual Peak Download Speed, if you have observed your download accelerators carefully),

then
1> Set maximum upload speed as 7KB/s
2> Maximum connected Peers per Torrent as 50(Afterpatching your Default TCPIP.SYS system file with Patch(Just Google the term) of Course).
3> Disable any Firewall installed (or create an exception for the required port...to do it, Google for Port Forwarding).

If you have a gprs Connection

Then
1>Set Maximum Upload speed as 2or 3Kbps..
(If it is Aircel GPRS your Download speed will be around 25 to 30 KB/sec,else it will remain close to 12 to 15,sometimes 18 KB/s..)

2>If you have any other connection like BSNL 256 Kilobits/s unlimited(i.e max download speed will be around 32 KB/sec..no matter how hard you try), then set your upload speed around 5KByte per sec

maximum,Unless you are only Uploading.
